Composition of Urinoloxan
Ingredients of Urinoloxan limit adhesion of bacteria to the bladder wall. They show bacteriostatic and diuretic effects. The ingredients lower urinary pH and have a positive effect on the natural immune barrier of the urinary tract.
Extract from American cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon), standardized to 10% content of proanthocyanidins-PAC and containing hippuric acid, has bacteriostatic effect and lowers urine pH.

Urinary tract problems of pets can have many different causes. First of all, they can be connected with congenital or developmental defects – for example, an abnormal structure of the urinary tract. There are also problems with the urinary tract resulting from injuries or even cancer.

Diet is crucial in the prevention of the urinary tract infections of a dog or cat. It reduces the risk of many acquired diseases related to the urinary tract. It is also important during the treatment phase of certain conditions.
First of all, it is necessary to take care of the urine pH, i.e. to provide dietary components that affect its acidity. Dietary components that limit the adhesion of bacteria to the walls of the urinary tract and their multiplication, and thus causing inflammation, are also important. In addition to diet, regular drinking of water is also very important.
For prevention and treatment of the urinary tract problems among pets, a good solution is to enrich the diet with ingredients that are key to maintaining and restoring the health of the urinary tract.
