Composition of Neoplasmoxan

The ingredients in Neoplasmoxan are compounds that support the proper nutrition of sick dogs/cats.

Trans-resveratrol, found in Vitis vinifera, is a natural substance of plant origin. It takes part in the following processes: neutralizing free radicals, inhibiting the angiogenesis of neoplastic tissues, modulating the levels of transcription factors and the expression of the genes coding the proteins present in the signalling pathways regulating the processes connected with tumour formation and inducing apoptosis of neoplastic cells. In addition, trans-resveratrol activates transformations leading to the degradation of carcinogenic compounds.

Quercetin, found in Sophora japonica, has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-angiogenic properties. This compound inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells, in relation to which it has a pro-apoptotic effect. Quercetin also has immunomodulating properties.

Vitamin E prevents damage to DNA and cell membranes, which can lead to tumour formation. Vitamin E shows antioxidant properties.

Selenium enhances the cytotoxic activity of lymphocytes against cancer cells and is a component of the amino acids that build the proteins involved in cell cycle regulation.
